Hello!
I am looking for someone who is interested in a field trip with a Korean family.
I am now in the Ph.D. course in history at another university in Seoul, but my house is near Sogang University so I am writing this posting here.
*Purpose :
1) I want to give my daughter a natural opportunity to meet foreigners and let her recognize learning English is important.
2) As having the certificate of Korean government-approved Tour guide (English), I want to practice conversation in English.
*I can offer:
1) free riding to somewhere near Seoul or in Seoul
2) free meal with my family
*I am looking for someone who:
1) are interested in history (especially Korean history)
2) likes children
3) enjoys traveling and getting new experiences
4) speaks English
Please note this in advance:
1) I don't care where were you from, but you should not speak Korean when you are with us.
2) My oldest daughter is going up 2 grade at elementary school, and my youngest one just passed a year old. I hope we would have only my oldest one on our trip... but sometimes my youngest daughter can be together.
3) I am not looking for a babysitter, but a language teacher or a language inspirer.
4) I am a woman in my late 30s. I would feel comfortable if you are a woman too.
5) I am not good at planning everything in advance, I can reach out to you suddenly to go out. Please don't feel sorry for me to reject my sudden suggestion.
6) Except for riding and meals, I don't offer any other compensation.
I am not sure how often we have a go-out.
If you like visiting museums, galleries, and impressive monuments, it will be definitely a good choice!
If you are interested in the occasional day outs with a Korean family (mother-daughter), please contact me via email : vivamayday@korea.ac.kr
It will be appreciated if you give me the brief information about you.
(your country, why were you interested in this, your major, what do you expect in this experience, etc.)
